A culinary experience by the sea
I woke up each morning to enjoy breakfast on the patio, watching the fine sea views. The in-house restaurant served lovely dishes.
While the location was convenient, our room's air conditioning struggled during the warm nights, making it a bit challenging to sleep comfortably.

Fairly clean venue with enjoyable and tasty breakfasts and ocean views. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the superior triple room, plus a sea view balcony, a mini fridge, and a telephone. Local area, marvellous and beautiful location, next to all the hiking around Praiano, the outdoor restaurant and the bus stop. 5 minutes' walk to Via Marina di Praia...

The view from our room was fine, and the kids loved playing on the terrace. We took a good trip to the nearby blue grotto, a highlight for the family. Plus, the delicious seafood menu had something for everyone.
In my wife's opinion, the bathroom setup was a bit cramped for a family.

The amazing views from my room were a highlight. Waking up to the Mediterranean each morning is unparalleled. Pasquale and Stefania. Their hospitality was genuine. We enjoyed dining at the hotel restaurant. Every meal was a delight, especially the seafood. The cleanliness of the hotel stood out, with our room being impeccably maintained. It's conveniently located on the Amalfi Drive with a bus stop just outside. The beach was a short walk away, but it involved quite a hike back up, so be prepared for that! One downside was the noise from the main road during the day, somewhat distracting. Breakfast could use a bit more variety, especially when it comes to fresh fruits. This hotel offers a cozy, family atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the Amalfi Coast.

My wife and I spent four nights at Open Gate. The view from our balcony was amazing, and the delicious breakfast helped kick-start our days. The staff were kind and helpful, especially in guiding us on how to navigate the local buses for a seamless experience exploring the Amalfi Coast.
The location requires a bit of walking.
